Without doubt, the biggest challenge you face in your relationship with
a Russian woman is...
Communication.
Yes, communication is by far the single biggest reason why most
attempts at love with a Russian woman fail. Everything else will fall
into place eventually, but if you can't communicate well with the woman
you're interested in, you are facing an uphill battle.
While most of us would like to survive on the old saying that 'the
language of love is universal'... the reality of dating someone who
speaks another language is that it is a huge challenge.
Not only do you need to understand the actual words being spoken, but
you've also got to take into account the intended meaning - literal or
otherwise!
On top of that, if you're corresponding over the telephone, it's even
more difficult due to the fact that you cannot see the other person's
facial expressions and gestures.

For most men, dating Russian women involves endless frustrating and painful
challenges...

bullet Relying on a translator to talk to the woman you are interested

bullet Travelling all the way to Russia or Ukraine to meet the women
you have corresponded with, only to find you cannot communicate with
each other at all!

Most Russian girls speak English, though, right?

Well, unfortunately... no.
Russian women fall into one of three categories, when it comes to
speaking English. (And this includes women of all ages, even younger
girls of university age.)
Group 1 - Firstly, there is the group that does speak English.
Fluently.
They've studied it at school, (and probably at University), and they
work as
translators, tour guides, in restaurants and hotels. This group
accounts for less than 10% of the women you're going to meet.
Yes, less than 10% speak English fluently!
Group 2 - The next category is the group that speaks some English.
Poorly.
Again, they studied it at school, but they've never had to use it
otherwise and certainly there's no need for it in their daily lives.
This is the biggest group. We estimate it covers about 50-60% of women
you'll meet.
Group 3 - Finally, there is the group that speak little or no English.
Perhaps they studied it in school, perhaps not. They will know a few
words of course. Everyone does. (We have Hollywood to thank for that!)
But they have never learned it properly and won't be able to speak it
with you.
This group makes up the remaining 30-40% of women that you're going to
meet in your attempts to find your wife.
It's quite alarming isn't it!

What This Means for You

Let's take a look at each of those groups again, and how this will
affect you.
Starting from the "worst-case" scenario...
If the woman you are corresponding with speaks little or no English,
your entire communication depends on a translator. Your letters, your
phone calls, and your actual meeting in her country will have to be
facilitated by the dating agency.
Aside from a constant flow of money from your wallet, this means you'll
be relying solely on the translator.
It also means worry...
Is the translator getting the right message across?... What are they
talking about?... What should I ask her?... When is she going to learn
English?... How are we going to communicate without a translator?... Is
she interested in me for real or just here to make money like all those
scams I keep hearing about?...
You'll be worrying about so many things you'll barely have time to
consider what's actually happening with the relationship you're hoping
to build!
Ok. Next scenario...
She speaks some English, but not very well.
This is the most likely scenario, considering about half of all girls
you will meet fall into this category.
In this case, you're going to be able to understand each other
occasionally. At best.
Your letters will still need to be translated. Your phone calls will be
possible, but you'll only be able to speak about a few basic topics
that she can understand in English... And the most common thing you'll
be saying to each other is... "Sorry I don't understand!"
Your live meeting will be the same.
If the woman you're interested in falls into either of these two groups
(that's 90% of cases, or 9 out of 10 women you'll meet), the result is
that YOU will have absolutely NO control over what happens with your
relationship.
You'll have no control about what you're talking about, and you'll have
absolutely no control over whether she can understand you.

The Cold Hard Truth

Naturally, if she can't understand you, there's no way that she'll
leave her friends and family to move to another country with you. (If
she is that keen despite the fact you can't talk with each other about
anything meaningful, you need to ask yourself if she is for real!)
If she is serious about finding true love, then she'll only commit to
you when she's absolutely certain that you are the man for her.
So, what that basically means is that your entire success depends on
the translator / dating agency!
That is not a good thought!
Yes, you can (and should) use translators in the beginning. It will
help you to know which women could be right for you. But then what? You
can't use a translator forever!
